“Happiness is not universal, it is particular to each one of us, depending on personal goals and aspirations.”
Mentoring is a meaningful conversation with a trained professional aimed at understanding, managing, and overcoming personal challenges. It helps you see new perspectives, develop coping skills, and make everlasting life changes.
I specialize in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviours. However, I may also incorporate other therapeutic approaches depending on your needs.
If you're facing challenges in personal growth, becoming better at what you do (personally or professionally) then mentoring is an excellent choice. Mentoring works best if you’re ready to explore your mind hidden places with curiosity and openness to change.
In the first session, we’ll discuss why did you decide to seek mentoring, your goals, and your background. It’s an opportunity to see if we’re a good fit to work together.
Typically, sessions are held weekly or bi-weekly, depending on your needs and schedule. Frequency may change as you progress.
Individual sessions last 45–60 minutes. Couple sessions may last 60–90 minutes.
The duration varies based on individual goals and issues. Most people may find significant change after 4 sessions, while others might prefer long-term mentoring. This will offer clients a deeper self-exploration and long-term support.
If you need to reschedule or cancel, please give at least 24 hours’ notice by email or text with a compelling reason. Cancellations will deteriorate your progress and may give room for old habits to resurface and take control.
Yes, all sessions are confidential, and I’m committed to safeguarding your privacy.
Building a trusting relationship with your mentor is important. If you feel we’re not a good fit, feel free to share your concerns, and we can discuss alternatives, or a referral to a licensed mental health professional.
Cost of sessions will be discussed in the discovery session, as they vary based on your set budget and progress speed.
Yes, I offer both in-person and online sessions to provide flexibility and accessibility. Online sessions are held through secure Zoom calls, or if you happen to find me in your city, we can have the session in-person.
Half of the progress happens inside the session, and the other half is where life is happening. You will be given mental exercises, tasks to complete, and coping techniques that will give you tangible evidence that the techniques actually work.
Mentoring is not to be confused with therapy, if we discover that you need a mental health professional, we will refer you to a psychologist or a psychiatrist.
Mentoring is often most effective one-on-one, but in some cases involving family members, friends or a significant other can be beneficial. We can discuss this as it comes.
